ANSWER: To install the ASP.NET 2.0 Web Service Extention, install .NET 2.0. If you already have .NET 2.0 installed and you don't see the Web Service Extention it probably means that you didn't have your server configured to run IIS when .NET 2.0 was installed. Go to Add/Remove programs and press the Change button on the .NET 2.0 line item. This will update the .NET 2.0 installation and you should see the ASP.NET 2.0 Web Service Extention.
